What the game stores, what stays optional, and how to contact us.

The short version

Poos Caboose has no accounts or sign-in. The game assigns each installation a public, non-identifying Poos-themed nickname and automatically submits scores to the leaderboard; you may change that nickname at any time. We do not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location. Supabase hosts leaderboards and daily ghosts, and the iOS app uses Google AdMob for ads, as described below.

The browser game

The playable game at pooscaboose.com/play stores your high score, sound setting, coin balance, unlocks, boosts, missions, daily-challenge progress, generated or chosen nickname, anonymous installation ID, and best daily ghost in this browser's local storage. Clearing this site's browser data deletes that local save.

After a scored run, the game sends your generated or chosen nickname, score, anonymous installation ID, game mode, and — after a daily run — best daily ghost to Supabase. Weekly reward claims are also recorded there. Nicknames and scores are public, and the top daily ghost may be replayed by other players. The browser game does not show ads or process purchases.

What the iOS game stores

Advertising

The free iOS game uses Google AdMob for interstitial ads and optional rewarded videos. Google may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.

Before the ad SDK starts, the app presents Google's consent flow when required and requests permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline tracking, the advertising identifier is unavailable; ads can still appear. The one-time Remove Ads purchase disables interstitials. Rewarded videos remain available only when you choose to watch one for an in-game benefit.

Purchases

In the iOS game, Apple processes the Remove Ads purchase and optional consumable coin packs. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple retains transaction information under its own policies. The browser game has no purchases.

Children

Poos Caboose is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. Players should not use a real name or other personal information as a nickname. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

To request deletion of leaderboard and daily-ghost data stored on our server, email hello@pooscaboose.com and include your public nickname and approximate leaderboard score. We may ask for more information to distinguish duplicate nicknames.

Deleting the app removes local iOS data from that device; clearing this site's browser data removes the browser game's local save. Neither action deletes server records or Apple's purchase history. For data handled by Google or Apple, use their privacy controls and policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above.
